The D3300 is an entry-level model offering an effective pixel count of 24.2-million pixels and equipped with a Nikon DX-format CMOS sensor with no optical low-pass filter, as well as the latest EXPEED 4 image-processing engine, which achieves high-speed processing and superior image quality at high sensitivities. The smaller and lighter AF-S DX NIKKOR 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6G VR II, a normal zoom lens covering the 18 to 55mm range of focal lengths will also be released.
